STET will be at BAUMA and you?
STET will be at BAUMA 2022 in Munich at the Zeppelin stand, which will occupy Hall B6, indoor and outdoor spaces. Under the theme "Let's Do The Work™", the message will go beyond equipment to highlight the wide range of technology, service and sustainability solutions we offer our customers.
The show will feature more than 70 Cat equipment and accessories from Caterpillar Construction Industries (CI). Separately, the Caterpillar Industrial Power Systems Division (IPSD) will display several Cat engines from its diverse product line in Hall A4, booth 336.
Advanced Technologies
From just one machine to an entire fleet, the Caterpillar technology ecosystem gives customers the power to locate, monitor, automate and manage their assets to reduce costs, improve productivity and optimize operations. Among the many technologies on display at BAUMA 2022, the Cat Command Station allows operators to work remotely and safely, whether near the site or many miles away, sitting in a virtual cab with easy-to-use controls and panels.
Accessible by computer and mobile devices, Cat Productivity will be on display demonstrating how easily an App can provide a complete overview of machine and job site production.
The Cat Grade with Assist for excavators on display uses machine position sensors and operator-defined depth and pitch parameters to automate boom and arm movements for more precise cuts with less effort to help increase operator efficiency.
The Cat PL161 designed for asset tracking and work tool recognition, is installed on attachments and other items so their location can be viewed on various job sites, and enables state-of-the-art excavators to recognize the attachment they are working with.
BAUMA 2022 visitors will also be able to learn about the hundreds of new Cat Reman and Rebuild product offerings, as well as the variety of repair options that reduce the cost of equipment ownership. Cat equipment is built to be rebuilt. On Cat Rebuild equipment 350 separate tests are performed and up to 7,000 parts are reconditioned or replaced during the rebuild of a certified machine to deliver it like new but at a fraction of the cost of a new machine . The Cat 982M wheeled shovel on display is a Cat Certified Rebuild, built to deliver optimized performance with Cat Advansys™ GET (Ground Engagement Tools).
Commitment to supporting our clients' objectives
Now more than ever, customers rely on Caterpillar and STET to provide a diverse portfolio of products, services and solutions that reduce greenhouse gas emissions, improve efficiency and productivity. The integration of technology, service solutions and advanced machine design increase operating efficiency, which results in less fuel burned and reduced CO2 emissions.
As the world's first high traction electric tractor, the D6 XE on display moves up to 35% more material per gallon of fuel than its predecessor D6T. Operator productivity increases by up to 50 percent using the wide range of Cat technology options.
Caterpillar has made a commitment that 100% of its new products by 2030 will be more sustainable than the previous generation. The 20 state-of-the-art Cat excavators on display with capacities from 1.6 to 95 tons feature higher productivity and lower fuel consumption.
In the future, some Cat equipment models will also include electric batteries with zero exhaust emissions and still offer superior productivity. Caterpillar will present BAUMA 2022 visitors several electric models currently in development.
The Cat MH3022 e-powered on display excels in indoor applications where less mobility is required and no exhaust emissions are needed.
Full range of equipment shown
The exhibit will include different model platforms - from XE models built for performance with the latest technologies and/or advanced drive systems to GC models designed to deliver robust reliability and value - to effectively meet a wide range of customer needs and applications.
In terms of Caterpillar's Building Construction Products (BCP) line of equipment, of note are nine state-of-the-art Caterpillar hydraulic mini-excavators, all offering improved performance, higher breakout forces, longer service intervals, and lower owning and operating costs compared to previous models.
Among the compact wheeled loaders on display, visitors will be able to see the recently launched Cat 906, 907 and 908 models (in a high-lift configuration).
The nearly 30 Caterpillar Global Construction & Infrastructure (GCI) models on display are anchored by nine state-of-the-art crawler excavators and four wheeled excavators with capacities ranging from 15 to 95 tons.
The 980 XE medium wheeled loader features a continuously variable transmission (CVT) that offers up to 35% greater fuel efficiency compared to M-series models, and has a more expanded technology platform to increase machine performance.
For moving large volumes of materials, the Hall B6 booth also includes articulated and off-highway trucks with capacities ranging from 30 to 70 tons and the Cat 992 and 988K XE large wheeled loaders.
The latest updates to the D4 crawler dozer elevate value with increased visibility, reduced operating costs and a wide range of new Caterpillar technologies. Equipped with its low cab option for transport, the Cat 120 GC motor grader excels in low to medium duty applications and provides reliable, cost-effective operation in a variety of applications from government and municipal work to rural road maintenance and grading.
Designed for rental and low to medium duty applications, the Cat CB2.5 GC utility compactor and CS12 GC vibratory compactor offer low total cost of ownership, simple operation, and long service intervals.
Complementing the Cat construction equipment lineup, dozens of attachments will be on display. This wide range includes hammers, shears, grapples, couplers, buckets, smart blades, augers, demolition grapples, and tilt-rotation systems.
