Next April 15th, history will be made for STET.
Spacecraft's "Crew Dragon" will depart on yet another mission to space, its seventh astronaut flight, for a six-month expedition to the International Space Station. The spacecraft will take off on April 15 from Kennedy Space Center, Florida.
The crew for this mission will consist of NASA astronauts Kjell Lindgren and Robert Hines, European Space Agency astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti, and a fourth member.
It was with great surprise that STET received the invitation to join the Crew Dragon crew, thus becoming its fourth member, with the mission of managing all maintenance operations of the spacecraft during the expedition.
This is yet another challenge that STET faces with enormous expectation and with the certainty that it will be "up to" this flight! Our specialists were selected after countless hours of tests that have shown that STET's technical capacity is unique, with highly prepared specialists who demonstrate this every day on the ground with their customers.
SpaceX's Crew Dragon is capable of carrying up to seven crew members to and from Earth orbit. It is currently the only one capable of returning significant amounts of cargo to earth and is the first private spacecraft to carry humans to the space station.
The Dragon spacecraft is equipped with 16 Draco thrusters used to guide the ship during the mission, plus two drogue parachutes to stabilize the ship during and four main parachutes.
